Sunday September 24th vs Bishops 2nds

McGill Club 29, Bishops 20

Lennoxville, Que. - Chris Horwood racks up 19 points as McGill's club team defeats Bishop's 29-20 in men's rugby at Lennoxville on Sunday.
After giving up an early try Chris Horwood responded by running 40 yards for the Redmen's first try of the game Horwood would later add another try and kick for points before the end of the first half. The intensity picked up in the second half when Matt Griffin got his ear ripped open and had to have it glued back on his head. Dan Belyea and Jon Bell would each add another try for McGill. Despite a relentless attack from the 3 foot tall Bishops winger, who incidentally has the nickname "Jockey" after being forced to ride a Great Dane during initiation, the club side managed to hold on for the win in their first real test of the year.
