The Stingers managed to muster a try and a handful of other points against a surprised McGill side. But in the second half, McGill finally showed up on the Loyola Campus field and scored 4 more tries to end with yet another convincing finish.

Concordia drew first blood after several McGill penalties and an unimpressive goal line stand by McGill. Failing to put points on the board early thanks to a missing kicking tee, McGill continued in relative disarray, allowing another penalty goal and a drop kick. Alistair Crow had to attempt a drop goal off of a penalty kick.

Flanker Jon Mackintosh had a blinder of a game, going on several big runs and saying a crushing Pommy 'Good evening' to the concordia forwards with his right shoulder. The rest of the back row followed suit, with first half highlight tackles coming from Alex Hart and Caleb Balloch.

A wearied Concordia team, down a starting flyhalf and fullback by half time, and victim to a yellow card, crumpled under posthalf time pressure led by blinding runs by centre Alistair crow and big 30 yard mauls by the McGill pack.

McGill's development teams allow them the depth of personnel that makes them so dangerous. It was not the shutout they would have liked, but it is the first big victory on Concordia home turf that the Redmen have had in years.
