[MUSIC] Nick Holman: In this release, we’re introducing Dynamics 365 Commerce in public preview. This solution adds a native e-commerce toolset into the existing Dynamics 365 suite of capabilities. It’s designed to streamline your business with an end-to-end commerce solution that scales to your needs across traditional and emerging channels. Capabilities include built-in authoring and development tools, engaging and intelligent digital storefronts, connected marketing and commerce platforms, and seamless management of content, assets, promotions, inventory, and pricing across all your channels. Let’s take a look at some of the new e-commerce editorial tools. As part of this release, we’re enabling you to create and edit marketing pages with no coding necessary. You can also enrich your product pages with storytelling and online media to help sell your products. You can manage URLs, templates, fragments, and digital assets. Let’s take a look at the editorial toolset and how it works. The new page editor gives content editors the tools to create and modify web pages on your website. You’ll see here on the left that there is a page outline allowing you to navigate through your page structure and select specific items to edit. You can also click in the preview canvas to select items. Once an item is selected in either the outline or the canvas, you can edit the content in the panel to the right. For this example, we can change the marketing text on this hero module. Let’s change it to say, save up to 25% on our Forest Series. We can change content and any other settings that the module has enabled. Let’s change where the marketing text shows up on the hero and move it to the right. This page editor has many other features, including the ability to check in a versioned history of the page or launch a preview of the page, which will give you an authenticated URL that allows you to preview the page in any browser or device prior to publish. This URL can also be shared with other authenticated members of your organization prior to publish as a way to review content. This release also ships with the digital asset management system. From here, you can upload your product images, marketing images, documents, and videos. Uploaded videos are automatically encoded for multiple device profiles. Every asset record has a persistent URL and allows you to do a binary swap for just the file or image. This allows you to change an image while keeping the existing URL references and metadata intact, even after the asset has been added to hundreds or even thousands of pages. For images in your asset management system, there’s an image resize service that allows you to upload just one high resolution file and choose different crop and focal point settings for different responsive view ports on different modules. Editors can also create and modify content fragments, which allows you to just author a portion of a page and then add a reference to it within many other pages across your site. A good example of a fragment is a header. This header can be authored by itself and then referenced by other templates and pages across your site. When you need to update the header, you can centrally update the fragment and any published changes will be immediately inherited by all the pages that reference it. Page template and layouts can be created and modified within the authoring tool set. Templates give site owners a way to create guided authoring workflows to increase content authoring efficiency and keep your site on brand as you scale. Layouts allow you to share a single page structure across a group of pages. Changes to a shared layout give you the ability to centrally reconfigure modules across hundreds or thousands of child pages without having to reauthor the unique individual page content. URLs are managed completely independent from pages. There’s no folder structure and any URL can be pointed at any page in your site. Redirects are also simple. All of your Dynamics back office products that have been published to your online channel will automatically show up in the products section, where you can preview any product page. You can easily modify these default product pages by choosing a new template and adding storytelling or additional online content to customize any individual product page. This release gives your site a great set of front end accelerators to fast track the buildout of your e-commerce storefront. These accelerators include a rich library of reusable modules with built-in responsive design, native content caching, integrated video streaming, and scalability and performance for you to grow. This release ships with a reusable library of modules to build your templates and pages. These modules can be used to build out an entire e-commerce site. If your site needs custom modules, there’s also a full SDK available to build your own. The modules that ship with this release are built to be responsive to different view port sizes and accessible to customers with different disabilities. All websites ship with native content caching and scalability which allows you to meet your online business and performance needs. We’re also including AI driven product recommendations as part of our native intelligent experiences. You also get a built-in customer ratings and reviews engine and moderation tool-set and, of course, integrated GEOIP lookup. Let’s take a look at the AI driven product recommendation lists. This release also ships with an AI driven product recommendation engine that you can use to algorithmically create product lists and cross selling opportunities. Within the page editor, you can select a list module and choose a list type to populate product recommendations on any page. You can choose category or related product lists from back office or a manually curated list or one of five AI driven recommendation lists. The five algorithmically generated lists that ship with this release are new products, best selling, trending, frequently bought together, and people also like. These lists can be used to add product recommendations like related products where people also like to specific pages across your website. The AI driven lists are automatically tuned over time to drive conversion and discovery across your product lines. This release also ships with integrated GEOIP lookup services, which will allow you to do scenarios like buy online, pickup in store, and find locations near your customers. In addition to this, there’s a ratings and reviews engine that ships out of the box and allows your customers to leave product ratings and reviews. For this, there’s also a moderation tool for you to interact with your customers and moderate content.
