Basics About E-Commerce
It's look like a lot of new inspirations! Greetings!
Love the review, just saying with the loose joints, if you would like to tighten them that there are a few tutorials on YouTube on how to do so…thought it was worth mentioning, and it will help with parts popping off…thanks for the review 😀
Thanks for your video, it really helps me to take a decision. :3
Hey hello!! very nice video!! im looking for one of these, this is a very helpfully video!
Can you tell me where did you buy those?, because i found some but VERY expensive! Thank you!!
I buy this too.. skin color and grey.. the grey one is indeed better for drawing artist because the bodyline is better in visibility. Mine have joints on their foot, but i have to fix the neck joints because they placing it wrong.
Great review! The pricing is great, but I assume they don't come with all the accessories that the figuarts models have?
Thank you! This video was super helpful and beyond informative!! I stumbled across the other figures on FB, then these ones on ebay and had no way of getting a good idea if they would be good for drawing. This really did help!
Hi, the writing on the packaging is in Japanese (what gives it away are the hiragana characters, Japanese's syllabic writing system). Are you certain these are a "cheap Chinese version"? 18 GBP (USD $36) is their normal retail value, ordered directly from Japan (plus shipping costs, which run USD $20 for the USA (we have no VAT tax). I believe you have the Figma Japanese originals, rather than a knock-off Chinese copy.
Great discount from Chinese Slavery , Sweat Shops … Child Labour ….
I think these are pirated versions of the figures.
Thx for tha vid but it not Chinese it japenese
Hi, nice vid, but can i suggest to do something about the sound effects on the back-ground, it's very unpleaseant and it hurts in a while ….
Thanks for taking the time to demonstrate the functionality of the figures… And for your honest assessment of the products…
How is the side-to-side articulation at the chest on the Figma? There's almost none on the Body-Kun. And the Body-Kun head is able to tilt to the right, but not much at all on the left (at least on the copy that I received).
I'm a cheapskate, but I would have to buy the genuine version because of the articulated toes. The cheaper Chinese version looks nice, but it is less useful as an artists aid.
there only 2 versions: 1# original figure and 2# china=fake versions
Hey the neck piece on your figma female is upside-down, that would be why it does not fit properly and is not proportional.
I don't understand… what are they for use?? Just put them in different positions??
did you think the chinese version of figma are worth for taking photoshoot ? did they good for making many poses for multiple times ?
It's written in Japanese not in Chinese 😉!
how much did you pay for them? and did you had to pay any extra cause of import and taxes?
What is better for artists? Body chan or figma archetype she?
Nice review you're pretty x
I like body kun better how ever this was a really nice video. Great job.
Hi. Is sad for me to look into a review of a FAKE product. Really the low quality is sad to view.
You can find cheap used and in good condition figures at :
They both ship worldwide. If you liked them, you should really buy the original ones and support the REAL people behind this products.
Excellent review. I wpuld like to know if theses chinese version includes extras, as katanas and guns.
i got one of these today, china version as well, neck broke while i was trying to pose her, so i'm not very impressed with it.. i might try to fix it with some after market parts.. i also found the neck unusually long
I bought these also,i got them on Wish! I know they're knock offs but I like them, they do what I need them to do.🙂
The neck of the female figure is too long. I understand body chan has big head but I don´t really like this neck, and Im pretty sure that the head of body chan fits better in her body than this long neck in your female figure. I like more body chan. Nice video.
xq meten mujeres ahacer cosas hombres esta es una pelotuda
Where's the link to the ebay page? I can't buy them.
Hello, I've just ordered them, it looks like they are more simple but still very useful. Thanks for your video. Martin
Very cool! :^)Thank you! 🙂
My Body-Kun broke when I was swapping hands for reference, so I might pick up a knockoff Archetype.
Thanks for the review. This is really interesting. I do have a question though: how tall are they? I know they're advertised as around 15 cm, but I've seen measurements be inaccurate before.
Like video 👍
How much are they?
Please link to where she bought them
Just got a figure. Turns out it was indeed a "China version". It seems acceptable otherwise, but the waaaay too long neck makes the figure look like a giraffe person :/
I think I actually prefer Figma over body-kun just for such a nice realistuc muscle demonstration on the male body. Would help me save a lot of time going through hundreds of google references looking for good muscle composition.
I actually just got the paired set of the Chinese versions. The male model seems perfectly adequate, but I had to perform plastic surgery on the female model because her neck was put on with the peg hole going back out of the neck instead of up into it. Other than that and a couple of stiff hips (with which I sympathize) I'm actually really happy with them.
great review – thanks!
I love your accent!
Got those stuff, though it still have limitations when it comes to much complex reflexes. But the advantages are that some poses cannot be done by real human in a haste time.
too much muscles on male. I always have to shrink arms in photoshop.
I am so tempted to buy these, these Chinese versions look great , i will check them out on E Bay.,. thanks for reviewing this product, it was a great help..
I'm a manga artist but i prefer archetypes too.
you look so beauty
Is there any skeleton version of that?
Co zrobić, jeżeli staw szyi się przełamał na dwie części? Pomocy 🙁
I'll be using these to create custom made volatile's from Dying light.
Best part of your review was how you mentioned the ridiculous head proportions of the expensive ones, so the cheap ones are not only a bargain but a good starting point. Thx.
She is hott
I just gotten the Body-Kun and Body-Chan and I do like them, but the most useful one is definitely Kun. Chan is too small and flimsy to use regularly so I'll be only using her in case I need a dance scene or other scene where two people need to interact. These Archetypes do seem bigger than the Figuarts ones which is definitely a plus. Then again, no accessories other than hands, which the Figuarts do have (the DX version). Both have their advantages and disadvantages it seems.
I have the same set of figures, however, I chose the orange colored as it appeared to be somewhat closer to skin tones. That was a mistake. Gray shows the facial features better I believe. It is very hard to see the facial features on the orange. The torso joint on my female figure pops out constantly. It is very difficult to deal with. So far the figures have not been as helpful as I thought they'd be, but it is one more tool. Posing the figures and photographing them seems to me the best way to use them.
Female version looks like giraffe
It feels impossible to find ones that out China bootleg. Shit, they fall apart all the time. Dont waste your money. Its a shame a proper company doesn't make some anatomical ones for artists…They would make millions.
Just use old gi joe figures
Yes, they are worth it, they are amazing at posing and are quite durable.
Thank you Aneriana for this reviews, I like to know what better alternative for figure Cie thank's ;o)
I have both the cheap chinese anime version and the more real life version of these..and i must say that i'm quite pleased, however..i have nothing to compare with though i don't have "The real ones". Some of my other chinese figures DO fall apart easy..but i've replaced some joints with tiny magnets for easy managment..and you can find these magnets cheap too..i use 3mm round ones for some parts..and 3 and 4 mm for others..works very well..thanx for the vid 🙂
Thanks. I bought a similar like these. A male. And i was curious about how it comes.
Can I play with them
You deserve more subs
Also I have the originals, there fragile.
Thank you for doing it so quietly you so calm 😀😇😀
Thank you! I saw these eBay ones and debated on it, however I didn't want to buy the manga styled one since I prefer realistic over anime. This was really helpful
Don’t buy knockoffs! Tokyo otaku mode sells these
they need to make different size & shape not just Muscle but big or small Muscle ever fat to a normal size that I will buy
I ordered these too because I really don't like the big heads either and I wanted a more realistic look… I don't anticipate using them much but I did want them to get scale models of this size as I have 1!6 Obitsu, (27cm, 50cm and 60cm) and various other roughly 12" figures. I think these will suffice for my purposes too… thanks for the video. I quite get into playing with poses with the Obitsu because they're beautiful.I was just looking atthe original ones and I prefer the heads of these… I think these may have a bigger range of movement in the legs…it looks like that. I will be happy with these!
The female figure has quite long neck than usual proportion. What do you think?
Honestly for a collector I wouldnt buy the Chinese one….but for me…I just want something cool and fun to display for an affordable price. Real Figma are stupid expensive, makes no sense. I'd rather buy a Morgan silver dollar or something of actual value for that price.
I got them, the female neck is not even a problem, the joints are difficult to move and no matter how gentle you try to be, they BREAK INSTANTLY, don't buy any chinese bootlegs, it's not worth it! Get any graphic software with pose models instead
you mean bootleg version? theres so many seller selling bootleg/knock off version of this figma, and thats why its cheaper, and of course the quality not as good as the original.
